Dr. Mariaahh Williams was absolutely amazing. She took the time to thoroughly review my medical history before even seeing me, which truly made a difference. She is empathetic, very thorough, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the visit. This is exactly the kind of doctor we all need—someone who genuinely cares and listens. The VA Medical Center itself was clean, well organized, and welcoming. Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful. The lab was well organized, and the pharmacy ran smoothly. My prescription was already marked as ready, and although they were briefly locating it, I didn’t have to get back in line—the staff asked me to wait, and it literally took about one minute. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. Thank you to Dr. Williams and the entire 4t

The VA spends how much money to put these ridiculous expensive monitors that don’t help provide better healthcare. First off, the same company that gave this VA 5 stars also conducted the Medicaid surveys. Smart ppl know what that means. Maybe spend some money on training the Dental Staff which is so unprofessional! Spend that money to help Veterans get the services they deserve. Spend that money on increasing salaries for VA employees like the front desk at PT who are always kind n professional. Or incentive pay. Help Us get some good leadership that will put healthcare first !!!

Going through a tough time with breast cancer, but the Orlando VA has me covered. From the start, Dr Sara discovered the cancer cells very early during a routine Mammogram and immediately scheduled a ultrasound. That alone saved my life. I was immediately scheduled for a community care biopsy, which revealed Ductal Carcinoma In situ - aggressive type 3 cancer cells of the right breast. The first surgery by the awesome Dr. Fredrick revealed the left breast also had DCIS but both capsules had broken open and released the cancer cells. Luckily it had not spread to my lymph nodes. After another surgery to clear the margins on both breasts, I've been scheduled for radiation treatments and I'm now working with two amazing Oncologists, Dr. Kinkopati and Dr Nguy in Radiation. I can't say enough

My husband has been in multiple VA hospitals as a disabled veteran. This hospital, staff and procedures are the worst of the worst. We came to Lake Nona for his heart device implant because it was touted as most advanced in technology. We made a big mistake. The staff, nurses and Dr were so unprepared, not knowledgeable and even forgetful in getting him his device emergency monitoring equipment, device cards and post operation followup. I heard from others that this is normal here. Don't be fooled by the newness of the facility. They are horrible from begining to end.

My brother has been coming here for care for several years. They have all his medical records. Yet every time he gets admitted his medications get screwed up. When he requests a medication he NEEDS all they can do is give excuses as to why they can not give it to him. His meds were all prescribed by VA doctors in the first place. They also refuse to provide the coverage for him to see an outside doctor that can actually help him. He's had to endure needless tests only to be told that they don't know what's wrong. If we had a different option, we would definitely take it. This place does NOT care about our veterans the way they claim to.
