I cannot recommend Dr. James and his team at Orlando Orthodontics enough! I had an extremely complex case, and many orthodontists recommended jaw surgery—breaking my jaw, wiring it shut, and 6–12 months in braces. I was terrified of surgery, and thankfully, Dr. James created a customized treatment plan for me that avoided surgery altogether. My journey wasn’t easy—I had to use a TPA appliance, rubber bands, and break long-standing thumb-sucking habits, which even triggered a year of anxiety until I found healthier ways to self-soothe.
