Just had my gastric sleeve procedure in April of this year and It was the best decision of my life! Dr. Ghanem is the best and I’ve already recommended 3 friends to him. He made everything so seamless and stress free. From the information seminar to the pre-op appointment. Even after my surgery when I had questions or concerns, his team responded so quickly through my chart. Thank you all so much for changing my life for the better!

Dr. Ghanem is AMAZING!!! From the very first step I took toward having Gastric Bypass surgery, Dr. Ghanem and his team were there for me. He and Dr. Ortega both checked on me frequently during my hospital stay and were very thorough, attentive, personable, friendly and approachable. I can also honestly say that I have experienced zero pain, nausea or vomiting since having my procedure on 6/4/25. There is some discomfort when getting up out of bed or lying down, but otherwise I feel absolutely wonderful. The doctors and medical staff? 10 stars so far. I'm seeing Dr. Teixeira, and he has been phenomenal. I'm getting a duodenal switch done, and he was super informative. Dr. Laura, and the nutritionist, Gayle, have also been amazing. All of them get 10 out of 5 stars from me. The office staff, though, leaves much to be desired. I've been calling since last week to pay the surgeon's fee so I can have my surgery scheduled. I was told by one person that only Orlayne can take my payment. Today, I'm told that someone else will take my payment and that I'd be getting a call back by the end of the day. It's 5:08pm, and I never got a call. It started off positive until after surgery. Dr didn't listen to anything. Prescribed meds I had known allergy to, hospital pharmacy even delivered them bedside when it was noted in my chart I had an allergy to it then nothing I have been complaining about since day 2 of surgery has been addressed. Trying to get follow up appointment is a battle. Send message on my chart for follow up the nurse calls asking about protien intake and fluid intake and tells me it's not what they want then tells me she don't make appointments then transfers to appointment line where that operator questions even more why I'm coming when notes from last visit clearly requested 2 to 4 week follow up. It feel like u fight to get follow up appointment that i already feel is useless bc issues from day 2 are still ha

I had a great experience until I could not longer have surgery due to financial issues. I am required by my job to get a medical note stating that I’m good to work and no longer need to be on leave. I have called, and emailed for almost a month and have gotten no reply or someone will say they will call me back and never do. This will now cause me to lose pay as I cannot work without this note. Shame on you for the way you treat someone after they are no longer giving you money.
