Orlando Health LabWorks - Lake Mary

Called us back 20 minutes after our appointment time & they aren’t good with children. I thought it would be different with the great reviews. My child is seven. This was her first blood draw & I thought the phlebotomist would have a calming, possibly even fun vibe about them to relax my child. Nothing, she didn’t even try. Was she tired from a long day? Maybe , but I thought this place was good with kids? I told the front desk & phlebotomist it was her first time but she just said “hold still”. 🤦‍♀️ That wasn’t the worst though. Afterwards my daughter’s lips went white & she said her chest hurt , so I did deep breathing with her. All the phlebotomist did was offer her a lollipop. I’ve had other labs offer me drinks, as an adult. I don’t think any would let me leave looking like she did &

I’ve never had a bad experience with Orlando Regional Health until today. I usually go to a different location for all my labs but today I tried Lake Mary and Jenny the phlebotomist was so rude and condescending I actually took my labs and left without getting my blood drawn that I’ve fasted for AND missed days of medication for. I’ll gladly go to a different location moving forward.

I called to ask a question about a kit as I thought about returning to this location due to the convenience of it being closer to my home, Jenny I believe her name is answered the phone she is RUDE as always. I was reminded why I wouldn’t return.

Staff here are fabulous! Extremely kind and friendly, and the phlebotomist I usually forgot (I cant believe I forgot her name!) is so warm and somehow remembers everything about me though it could have been longer than half a year!

The reviews are true!!! Great place to get blood work done. Hardly any wait at all!!!
