Oriental Dental

My family members have been patients of Dr. Elizabeth Cordes for the past 6 years. I am pleased with the care, pleasant atmosphere, practical advice and treatment options offered. It's great to have a quality dentist in my hometown, Oriental, the Sailing Capital of NC.

Oriental Dental was able to fit me in the day I called with a semi-emergency. Dr. Cordes and her assistant were courteous and professional and took care of my issue quickly. Dr. Cordes also explained everything she was observing and doing so I could relay the information to my regular dentist, who is out of town. We're now considering transferring our business to Oriental Dental.

Well, it has now been 2.5 hours, and I am STILL so angry, I could spit. I came in to have a crown reset.....but SOMEHOW, they thought I was here for a full exam and cleaning. 8 XRAYS, and a whole bunch of probing later, with demands for followup appointments, I finally ask, "When will you do the crown?" NOW they finally look at the paperwork that they required me to complete, and say, "Oh....is that what you are here for?" My wife told them what I was coming for when the appointment was made....I told them what I was here for when I arrived....but NOBODY listened. NEVER GOING BACK!

Phone number is disconnected as of 2/17/2025. Too bad, as it would have been walking distance from home.

I had a very positive experience. Everything was well done, professional and comfortable.
