Orange Park Medical Center

I'll be in the minority here, but I always got good care here. Both times I went, the first employee to take care of me was a medical professional, usually a nurse. Health insurance and payment were second. This is the first and only medical facility I've been to where I was treated as a patient!

I was brought in after passing out and arrived unconscious. Despite this, the staff failed to take appropriate steps. They lacked the equipment for an EKG, never returned to my room, and even left my blood samples sitting on the counter without sending them to the lab. I stayed there for over three hours without any real medical attention. I had to advocate for myself and eventually left after speaking to the doctor. I am deeply disappointed and concerned for anyone in critical condition who goes to this facility. This is unacceptable.

I had the most gratifying experience with the ER staff. Attentive, understanding and CARING. We were moved up to the 2nd floor. Can’t say thank you enough to that staff. From the nurses to the cleaning crew to the dietary delivery OMG you are ALL angels. Thank you for caring enough to say good day as you each walked into the room. Then we were moved to ICU “The Crème of La Crème”. 100 stars for each of you. Not only were you kind but your words of kindness and moving forward were inspirational. Your caring hands and explanation of everything you were doing helped me sleep better and relaxed. Lastly, DOCTORS; Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Standing ovation to you for your dedication to saving lives.

Very disappointed it took 5 hours to get my mother head sewed up medical staff and the office staff are not in communication she waited over an hour for one Tylenol She was told not to get out of the chair without help beep to go pee eventually could not wait Tried to get her out to move her to rehab and it took 2 days of calling finally after o ask for the patient liaison I got things moving should not have to complain to get her decent treatment will not let her go there again Terrible hospital

There's a few good nurses here. However most of them don't follow the doctors protocols. I was transferred to a rehab facility with no rx orders and without a cpap order.. If you have a choice transfer out immediately I wish I did.
