Optum Urgent Care - Howard Beach

I arrived at 21:38 to see if I could get a rapid covid test only to be told that they are no longer taking anymore patients. They need to state they close at 9pm and not at 10pm. That is false advertisement of a business and inconsiderate of customers time!.

I extend my sincere commendation to Dr. Peter for his exceptional politeness and unwavering patience. His compassionate care and attention have had a profound and positive impact on my well-being.thank you Dr Peter .

I wasn't feeling well and I knew going to an urgent care was the fastest solution to my problem. My asthma was activated by a cold I caught from my grandson. It started in my head and then went into my chest. My chest was tight and I was wheezing, Over the counter meds weren't helping enough. The doctor was kind, understanding and helpful. He gave me a nebulizer treatment before leaving to open my airways and loosen up the congestion. He also gave me a rx for a pump inhaler, steroids, antibiotic and medicine for my nebulizer. It was a comforting and reassuring visit. Thank you to the doctor and staff at Optum. I appreciate you and the care you gave me. I would highly recommend this facility.

PA Wajiha Khan went above and beyond to address my concerns, and listen to me as far as what I wanted and needed, I appreciate that as I’ve had a lot of negative experiences in the ER prior to her. she even went as far as to give me a referral same day that I very much needed due to my urgent condition. the X-RAY tech was very nice and gentle aswell! I appreciate the dedication and hard work from you guys and all of the staff! I went at 9:30am and was in and out in a hour. thank you!!

Minor kid came for a wound/stitches follow-up Dr attitude was very bad didnt talk properly seems to be angry to clean his wound was rough and quick. Horrible Horrible please dont even waste your time especially if its regarding your children. All these places are open for money not for patients. Prohealth was better
