Optum Podiatry - Syosset

Dr. Ehrlich is a professional and compassionate doctor. I highly recommend recommend him. However the staff at the desk at check in look unprofessional and crude. I don’t like overheating telephone conversations while waiting in the waiting area with plastic drink cups on the counter. Also the gentleman who escorted me into the examining room didn’t introduce himself upon meeting me. He should say his name and that he is Dr. Ehrlich’s assistant upon meeting. Susan Kazin (patient)

Absolutely awful and nasty people to deal with. (1) I was given an appointment time. The doctor asked me why I was not an hour early. I felt scolded like a child. I was not told to come an hour early. I was 15 minutes early as stated in the email. (2) extremely nasty office manager and assistant to the doctor. It was frustrating and upsetting dealing with them. Their behavior on the phone was rude, disrespectful and hostile. I will never return any recommend you find another practice. You will have an easy time making an appointment though.

Dr David Ehrlich took great care of my foot. Both feet actually. My experience with him has been nothing but great! He's personable, and explains it in a way that is totally understandable. I trust him to get me back on a good walking pace. The office is bright and comfortable and I didn't wait long. The staff were also very attentive and so nice. The imaging is down the hall. Ok it's a long hall but that's how I got here anyway. Walking. It's very convenient office, lots of parking. Highly recommend Dr Ehrlich. The app is through Epic My Chart. Very easy.

Doctor Danielle Gregory is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. Her bedside manner and expertise are just top notch.

If you are looking for a responsive doctors office, this isn't it. I've been working all week to get information and the patient advocate (I can't believe they call them that), can't seem to help me. Even getting a person on the phone is very difficult. They are good doctors but getting to see them or getting help from them is near impossible because you can't get through the front people.
