Optum Pediatrics - Mount Kisco

While the actual providers who work here are incredible, the billing team / back office are either incompetent or outwardly fraudulent. I was scheduled for a sick visit for my son for the next available pediatrician, only to learn 1 month later that the pediatrician we saw was out of network for BCBS. This seemed crazy, since we've seen 5 other pediatricians over the years within this practice and they've always been in network. There was never any warning that this visit would not be covered by insurance, which they're legally required to do under New York State's No Surprises Act. I've wasted countless hours of my life going back and forth with these people and they've given me so much attitude. You would think that they would've waived this by now since they so clearly messed up.

Customer service is non existent. It got 1 star because review wouldn’t accept zero stars.

Negative stars are what you deserve. I’ve been calling pediatrics now for an hour and half, nobody is picking phone up, after hours people are absolutely clueless and beyond rude and have no ability to do their jobs apparently. Doctors are great.
