Optum Pediatrics - Cedarhurst

The kindness of the doctors is very good but sadly the white lady hispanic with bright eyes, that is in the front desk gives very bad treatment or even is racist. I went to the clinic to do an appointment for my daughter but she didn’t want to do it then I left without getting an appointment. Then the next day I called to do another appointment and then I was able to get it. Employees like her shouldn’t be put in that position because it requires care for the patients.

The worst office and system. Fine doctors but Optum is the worst to deal with. Avoid.

Liked them but kind of rude and did not notify me they no longer take my child's insurance, guess we are not part of that niche

It’s unfortunate to see negative reviews about this practice and especially Dr. Marie. Dr. Marie Schroeder was my pediatrician when I was 15. Seven years later she became my children’s pediatrician. 17 years later she still has the same calm demeanor helping everyone feel at ease. My sons now 10 and 8 have been seen by her since birth. Dr. Marie is quite possibly the most thorough with her patients. She will hear your concerns, she will go in depth no matter the type of visit it is. My children get their yearly check ups and do not cry, and always feel comfortable with her. She has amazing bed size manner. Going as far as calling to follow up with her patients long after they are seen just to make sure they are feeling better. Yes, Doctors are human beings, not magicians with magical power

My children have been patients there over 15 years. Love the dedicated doctors!!! Staff is friendly and appointments are always available throughout the day and even weekends. I visit their Franklin Square location sometimes as well and receive the same treatment. Definitely wouldn’t change my providers... Ever! I truly recommend any parent who wants the best services for their children to join the practice. :)
