The entire staff is polite and very professional. Dr Pallares has been my doctor for 4 yrs and he’s awesome on keeping up with my medication refills as well as the procedures and knows exactly what I have and feel. He’s the best at controlling my chronic pain. The best thing I love is that unlike other doctors, he uses my power port to do my procedures

I started March 2024. Shots in my spine. Dr told me I was going to need a lot of work, 2 yrs worth. After a few shots in my spine, I ended up on a walker! I continued to get shots, dr kept telling me its what i need! Last summer i was OVERDOSED from anestesia! Dr was preparing my shot combo, w the asst, and one on a computer. All backs were turned, a new kid JBird, walked by and shoved ALL the anestesia into my IV, then walked out the door!!! When I saw it all gone, I turned my head to tell the crew, and I just face planted onto the table!! I would not wish that experience on my worst enemy. The IV was at 2 pm. I had to push my med alert button at 2am! I was in and out of consciousness, flipping like a fish in my walker. My caregiver had to stand in front of my walker to keep me from hurt

My PCP schedule me here and I needed to wait a month and a half for my appointment. On the day of my appointment I called to confirm and over the phone. They decide to tell me that they had trouble verifying my insurance and for that reason I was scheduled for an appointment they had over a month and I have to reach out to me and get this sorted and they choose a day of my appointment to look into my insurance. Once they finally did, they basically told me my insurance was only able to cover $75 off the entire visit and the consultation itself. I was looking at over $150 and asked for the procedures they were gonna do. I was looking at paying $1500-$5000. From my understanding, I thought pain management was just to help you with prescriptions. They told me prescriptions is not what they do

I had a surgical procedure done a few years ago by Dr Mona Ehasz to try to relief the pain & discomfort I was experiencing. I came out of anesthesia much worse than I was, screaming in pain, couldn't put weight on my right leg & was sent home .... 3 days later my husband had to call an ambulance to take me back to the hospital. It ended up Dr Bradley Stephens had to do another surgery on my spine/back to relieve the excruciating pain I was in. I don't recommend her or this Clinic!!

Today was my appointment to help relieve some of my sciatic pain. I previously had been a patient of another Dr in McAllen. When I arrived at Optimum the staff was friendly and had a smile to which helped me calm down from previous experiences. The pre-op wait was kept to a minimum and the procedure a breeze. They made me realize that pain management does not have to hurt. I am truly in awe and give all of my thanks to everyone there.
