O'Neal's Drug Store Inc.

I've been using this pharmacy for close to 10 years now and they used to be pretty good but their services over the last year or so have really gone down the toilet. ***************************** (UPDATE)- I just got off of the phone with the owner of this establishment less than an hour after posting my review. We had a pleasant conversation and the owner suggested a few ways of helping to resolve the previous issues I was experiencing with his business. I will reserve final judgment and upgrade my review once they have implemented the corrective measures we discussed over the phone. To be continued... In general, I prefer going here because of the drive-thru and courteous staff. Sometimes a prescription takes a little while to fill, but if I am there they prioritize it which I greatly appreciate. That said, last time I was there my daughter had a prescription for a medication that can be bought OTC so they wouldn’t fill it; that was disappointing since I couldn’t afford it otherwise, but whoever was working the drive-thru was not the regular person and had some type of attitude which is not helpful when you already have a sick child.

This is the second strike with Oneil Belhaven. Two hours to fill a prescription and they over look some of the medications to be filled. This is my second experience here and the first experience was medications overpriced by 100s of dollars. Never again, Oneils is definitely not going to be my pharmacy.

My doctor sent medication there by and I was told by 3 different people within a 2 day period they had it and on Friday when my doctor sent it before He left for vacation. I take suboxone for pain management due to liver disease and now I am without for who knows how long. The pharmacist also had a major attitude.

Got our COVID vaccine there. We registered through their website. Registration and check in were very quick. We did not have to wait at all. The pharmacist was very nice. My wife is not very good with needles and he did a good job distracting her during the process. They also had free water and snacks for us. Great job O'Neals.
