OMS Nashville: Oral Surgery & Dental Implants - Brentwood

Love this place and the people. They are always nice and accommodating to your needs. I have had 3 procedures with them so far (unfortunately) but each procedure was wonderful from the reception, billing, nursing and doctor staff. Definitely my go to place for any extractions and implants!

Would give 0 stars if possible. Dr. West should be nicknamed Worthless West. November 2022 I made the mistake of going to OMS Nashville & letting Dr. West operate on me. Going into this I had a lot of previous trauma with an oral surgeon out in California that has given me extreme anxiety with anything teeth. Because of my previous trauma I write everything down from dates, what the app was for, what the doctors said, what was done on me, etc. At the time Dr. West told me they extracted my bad tooth & out in an implant. I asked more than once if they had to do a bone graph & was told no. When I had some post op issues & called to speak to the surgical nurse she made it seem like I was a nuisance & she couldn’t be bothered with me. I got cleared to have a crown put on in March. April 5th I

My son has always had anxiety with doctors visits, etc. He had his wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Hamilton. Her assistant Gabriella was wonderfully compassionate with my son and helped him ground himself during a moment of panic before his procedure. I was overcome with emotion and she helped calm me, too. We were in and out in a timely fashion and post op instructions were well explained. Dr. Hamilton even called to check on my son (and myself) that evening. Highly recommend!

I had an infected cracked tooth that needed an implant. I was scheduled to get the implant with Dr. West on the Friday morning before Labor Day at 8:00 under General anesthesia at the Brentwood office. After the procedure I went home and as I became more aware, I noticed I couldn’t close my mouth all the way because the implant abutment was hitting the tooth above it when I tried to close. As soon as I noticed this I called the postoperative line that I was assured would be available 24/7. I left a message shortly after noon and still had not heard anything back by 2:20 PM. So I called again and at that time was able to reach a person and I told them what I was experiencing. I was told to text pictures of the implant to a phone number for a doctor to look at. I let them know that would not

Dr West and his team were excellent. He took the time to explain a new to me implant procedure. He was personable, knowledgeable, and professional, including all across his staff: surgical team, billing, patient care over the phone following the procedure. I would not hesitate to return under his care should a situation arise in the future. I highly recommend Dr West and the OMS Nashville practice.
