Olney Family Hearing

Absolutely amazing! I thought I would have a quick hearing test and immediately get sent on my way, but it was quite the opposite. Melanie spent over an hour with me going over my history, concerns, etc. She had answers to all my questions, is definitely well-versed in her field, and genuinely cares about people. It is rare to find kind and competent people anymore, she is one of the few. Five stars.

I had been having issues with both ears feeling like they were stuffed with something, giving me the feeling of my head in a fishbowl. My son-in- law had been to Olney Family Hearing for s omething similar and had good results so recommended them. I was met with a welcoming feeling and was explained what would be checked and how. I was told that if I felt uncomfortable to say so and whatever it was would be stopped. I felt comfortable with the exams and treatment and the issue I was having is so much better. I had a lot of wax in one ear, none in the other one but was advised to try an over the counter treatment for that ear. I was also advised to have my hearing checked by another specialist, not something they would do. They weren't trying to get me to pay for something else there. The

Very attentive. Quick service. Super kind. Took my little one right back. They had time for me and held space for me. I was able to talk and they listened and understood. They treated me and my son like we were the most important people in the room. It was really above and beyond. I highly recommend. The place was very nice. Clean and well taken care of. I’m pretty sure they even stayed later to make sure all my needs were meet and my questions answered. But they never rushed me. I wish they did more than just audiology!! Fantastic

I have been a patient of Dr. Julie for almost 10 years, first when she was at Kaiser Permanente. She left Kaiser with Dr. Melanie to open up their own private practice and I followed her. My wife just joined their practice as well. Simply put, Dr. Julie is a great doctor! She listens and is very good at explaining medical issues. She is patient and you never feel rushed. She is kind-hearted, an under-estimated quality these days. She puts you at ease—lets you know that she cares about you as a patient. She has the physician’s art. I highly recommend Dr. Julie and this practice to ALL.

Came to the Olney Family Hearing Clinic to get a proper audiology test that my previous hearing clinic didn't provide. I also felt judged at the other facility, so I had extremely low expectations for any future visits to hearing clinics. I wasn't expecting a miracle, but this was the first time in decades that someone truly cared about my condition. The staff are the miracle I have hoped for. Please keep it up and continue to give a chance to those who want to hear.
