I booked my appointment through the BR General Family Medicine website and it’s very easy and convenient. I think they even accept same-day appointments if availability allows. I went in to see Dr. Ragusa as a new patient with several different ailments. She thoroughly addressed each one and made a care plan for me to get back on track with my health. She and her staff (nurse Mimi) are super friendly and they truly listen to everything you tell them. I couldn’t be happier with my choice for a new PCP.

Dr. Ragusa is hands down the best doctor I have ever seen in terms of communication and interpersonal skills. She utilized reflective listening, open ended questions, communicated empathy and compassion, and worked together with me to find a treatment plan that worked with my lifestyle and symptoms. Dr. Ragusa showed interest in my personal story and asked several thoughtful questions to get to know me better as a patient. Dr. Ragusa made helpful suggestions for treatment and explained things in an accessible way to me. She made me feel respected even while explaining complex concepts to me in a slightly simplified way to enhance my understanding.
