Ole Brook Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Joey and staff are amazing!! We are currently in Meadville displaced by Hurricane Ida. My 7 year old woke up with a toothache so I googled pediatric dentistry and went off of reviews. They took us in same day and were very sweet and caring. My son had a cavity in which the tooth needed extracting. He was a little nervous but they made sure he was very comfortable and they kept him calm. I live about 3 hours away where our home was damaged by IDA. I would be lying if I didn’t already think about making the 3 hour drive for my kids to continue care here. They are that amazing😍

The dr is brusk and shows no sympathy towards the kids when they are hurting. She talks loudly about the patients negative medical conditions. Multiple kids with parents in one room together. So medical anonymity is not a thing. My daughter had to get a tooth extracted and the Dr spoke to her so demeaning. Then she physically held her down while raising her voice at my daughter to pull the tooth while my daughter was screaming in pain. Mind you… this is in front of other parents and kids. I should have stopped it immediately But I just was overwhelmed and thought maybe this was normal for tooth extraction until I took her to another dentist and they were shocked. I must say the two assistants that helped were kind. They looked horrified too at the whole situation.

She is amazing at what she does! My kids have been going to her for about a year and a half and absolutely love going to the dentist now. Before going to her my kids went to two others here in town and it was horrible. They were scared and I didn’t like how they were treated. So I would highly recommend her to any parent!

I have been very pleased with dr Joey Sessums. She does a great job with my three children. I will highly recommend her to anyone with children of all ages... My children love going there which is totally different then where we went before, they hated going there!!!😐 We had a lot of trouble with the other office we went to before, but as soon as we started going here, she fixed all the problems. Thank you dr Sessum for all that you have done for my children they love you!!!

The Best Dentist/Oral Surgeon ever! I'll follow Dr. Joey Sessums wherever to get my kids` dental care! Excellent and welcoming customer service, clean and comfortable, child friendly environment, no long waits..excellent dental care and advice are provided here! My son`s dentist for d past 5 to 6 years. She performed oral surgery on my son when he was 1 to 2 years old and when she was finishing up Dentistry school at UMMC in Jackson, MS.. At the time, UAB pediatric dentist in Birmingham, Alabama and all dentist in my city Meridian, MS wanted to pull his tooth due to tooth injury. Dr Joey Sessums saved Baby Floyd`s tooth. Eventually, He lost that tooth as normal children would .....last year..n kindergarten! Thanks for preserving Baby Floyd aka MR`s beautiful smile! He will be 7 years o
