Old Bridge Dermatology

Like others have mentioned the receptionist isn’t the nicest but that’s not where my problem lies. I was yelled at by the doctor for not having a mask on, and was told I couldn’t be seen. They found a mask for me. I was supposed to have a full body check. He looked at one mole on my body and said I was fine and good to go. Um???? If I die of skin cancer this doctor will be to blame… for being in the room with me for a total of 2 minutes. Oh and I have a bill that was mailed to me for over a hundred dollars lol DEFINITELY avoid this practice.

I have been seeing Dr. Vaillant for over 20 years and have nothing but great things to say about him. His experience and his expert eyes have found things so early that I have not had any issues since I became his patient. The staff is great and always welcoming.

Probably the worst possible front desk secretary I’ve ever seen. Is extremely rude without the smallest bit of human decency. Gets frustrated with every single patient because she’s simply doing her job. Is rude on the phone and off the phone. She can’t be bothered to do her job and gets mad at patients when they ask her a question. Dr. V is also very old school and can’t be bothered to wear gloves while examining patients. He often dismisses what the patient is telling him and insists on what he knows. He wants you in and out as fast as possible even though his office is empty. The combination of the very rude and inappropriate behavior of Bernice (receptionist) and the doctor’s inability to listen to his patients makes for the worst experience in a dermatologist office.

I’m a graduate of medical studies so I have a strong background in medicine. Been coming to Doctor for past few months now for alopecia/hair loss on my face. From what I have seen from personal experience, Dr Vaillant is great. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. He also gave me the best price for treatment when I was uninsured compared to all the other dermatologists I called. I’m surprised at the bad reviews since I haven’t had any experiences like those and I quiz the doc every time I come in. He knows what he’s talking about. You don’t need another dermatologist, Vaillant is great. Also his two receptionist are great. Very friendly and welcoming.

Dr. Juan Valiant has a vast amount of experience and will quickly diagnose your condition. I and my family have being going to Dr. Valiant's office for close to 15 years. Dr. Valiant is the BEST dermatologist I have ever gone to see. The staff at the doctor's office are also very efficient and very pleasant. If you enjoy waiting a long time in the doctor's office - you will be disappointed.
