The fact that I have to wait in the waiting area instead of being put in a room is crazy. I’m already sick and y’all just got us all out here uncomfortable coughing in each other faces. Can’t get comfortable cause how. Sick and just want to lay my head down while I wait on my results and can’t is wild. Do better my insurance that I pay for pays for better treatment than this fyi

Deborah Seeling, APRN-CNP was ineffective at receiving handoff report from initial encounter MD. This caused frustration. Deb mentioned that the initial physician I saw left without providing clinical notes on my case and presentation to ED. The initial physician Dr. Stroud was super attentive to my concerns, ran a thorough workup that helped me recieve the best level of care. Deb passed the buck stating that the reason she was unaware of my clinical history was due to "having many other patients". Provider burnout should never be directly attributed to patient care with emphasis on blame. One bad encounter with Deborah Seeling made me consider that I should leave my fabulous care team at OSU completely. Do not let one bad apple, spoil your access to excellent care. The nightmare that is OSU EAST is real I feel there is a general consensus that most people dread having to come to the ER. Expect to be here 8,10-14 hours and that’s just for Non emergency events. This trip waiting on my relative to be seen. We’ve been here long enough for two lady’s Oxygen tank to run out and had to be politely lol reminded to get them another. Never use them for urgent care ever.

I just unexpectedly spent sixteen days here. ENT doctor at Carepoint East sent me here after being seen. The overall care was exceptional. Immediate response any time I had to press the nurse button. At 59, I'd never spent more than a day in the hospital, so I had no idea what to expect. Three teams of doctors, coordinating on a diagnosis and meeting with my wife and I every day. 90% of the nurses and PCA's were unbelievably compassionate, and worked together seamlessly. I believe most of the negative reviews come from a misunderstanding of what triage is and how it works. You may think your situation is more dire than the person sitting across the room, but you truly have no idea. You also have to consider the number of uninsured people who use the ER like they were going to their PCP. I

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I waited almost 10 hours to be seen and they never attended to me. They let many people who arrived after me go in first. I left and went to another emergency room, and there I didn’t even wait 5 minutes. The ladies at the front desk were rude, and if you tried to ask something, they got annoyed with the patients. If you’re not happy with your job, then leave, because your job is to provide care and kindness. I only appreciate the last guy who was there — that’s the only reason they get one star
