I wish I could give you guys negative stars. Worst experience I've ever had in an emergency department. This place is disgusting, dirty, smells bad. Over run. No rooms. 14 hour wait times. Didn't have access to a bathroom. I now am sitting here here with period blood on my pants. Legitimately from the beginning to end this was a terrible experience. Poorly run, nurses tellings us they'll be back to grab us for scans that were already done. Put in random recliners in random rooms with other people and no partition. Gotta be some sort of hippa violation. The only reason I'm even here is for my fiance who's insurance forces him here. Save yourself and stick with Ohio Health. This place will kill you for sure. Edited to add photos I took of the bathroom near the lobby security were being jerks

I went into the ER in serious pain from a fractured spine L2 and left pain free and clear direction on how to manage my pain and to move correctly so not put any pressure on my back. Now, it wasn't all rainbows and butterflies. The triage nurse was rude and dismissive until they took my Bo and it was duper high. The triage Doctor however was compassionate and empathetic he ordered me a pain med. I spent over 2 + hours in a wheel chair in pain and no pain meds. Waiting in a waiting room full of people who would have benefited in an urgent care rather than clogging up the ER. I was finally take back and the ladies in the observation portion of the ER were terrific yet again I was back there for 5 hours waiting on everything. It could have been accomplished in 2 hours. I understand there wer

If I could give zero stars I would. I had an EKG and blood work. Then I sat and waited for 5 1/2 hours before I finally left. The crap thing about is, they did bloodwork and I had the results before an hour was up and my WBC are high and there are other things abnormal also. But, I could not wait anymore. I tested for Flu A 3 weeks ago and I still have a cold and spike a fever every night that jumps up to about 103.6. So, yes, I really needed to be seen, but this is why I waited this long to even come, because of this bullshit. And I came here be used I am a Stage 4 cancer survivor and I am immunocompromised. But this is absolutely ridiculous. I may not return to OSU.

My mom's Admitted in the Lex Sexner medical center for almost 2 weeks now. She was on a donor list for 3 years, finally got a kidney. In that time my father has been taking care of her. He needs 2 knee replacements. Which he is refusing to get so he can take care of mom. We have had thousands upon thousands of dollars of medical care from OSU in the time. This current bill will easily be 6-figures. My dad with 2 bad knees has been driving a 2.5 hour round trip every day, and hobbling a quarter-mile from the garage to my mom's room. He's 67 himself, and can barely walk. The hospital refuses to give him any parking passes so he can afford to get valet. What ever happened to compassion for your fellow human over numbers and profit margins? Sad world we live in when the elderly are taken advan

If I could give a half or zero stars I would. I have a history of pulmonary embolism and am pregnant so when I woke up with severe nausea dizziness and blurred vision and a headache my ob said to go to the er for precaution. I’ve always had a good experience with my OSU doctors so I figured the er would be the same I was completely wrong. I spent three hours in the waiting room (I can understand I wasn’t top priority but that seems like an excessive wait time). The nurse that came to take me to my room spent 30 minutes in the lobby chatting with a coworker before grabbing me and at that point I had not had water or ate for hours while pregnant so I felt faint on top of my other symptoms. Once back in a room I waited 30 minutes for a nurse to come in and take blood work. He proceeded to pok
