Ochsner Urgent Care & Occupational Health – Arlington Marketplace

Do not waste your time. My daughter went in and presented with huge tonsils covered in white puss. They never tested her, never cultured her and barely looked down her throat. She was diagnosed with tonsil stones and sent home with two nasal sprays. Nasal sprays?? Really!! Next day she wakes up and is worse with fever. She went to the LSU health center on campus and they were amazing. 5 stars. They tested her for flu, strep and mono. They even had an ER doc there for her to see. The clinician was so caring and was determined to get her what she needed. They were able to give her steroids and antibiotics and a referral to an ENT if needed. Ochsner do better!! From this out of town momma and the daughter of a retired physician, we will go straight to the LSU health clinic from now on.

Jason at the registrar, provider Aleah, and medical assistant Carrie were awesome in helping me with what I needed. Had a swollen face and they checked me out nothing serious. Awesome place.

Didn’t share the fact that my insurance would not cover the visit. Huge bill came in weeks later.

My roommate and I have been to multiple urgent cares in the Baton Rouge area and this was by far the best! The most kind/comforting staff from the receptionist to the doctor. They are so quick, efficient, attentive, and have some of the best bedside manner I’ve seen. I would rate this visit a 12/10. Thank you to all the kind staff and doctors!!

I don't understand the 1 star reviews left here. We came for a flu test even though our son wasn't that sick, just wanted to be sure before sending him back to school. We got several tests instead (in addition to the flu test), as they wanted to be thorough and rule out more than just one possibility. Front staff, nurse, and PA were all incredibly friendly and service was quick. Very little wait time even though there were others there and being seen. Very clean facility. Was a much better experience than trying to deal with waiting forever at the pediatrician for something so simple.
