Oceanside Care Center

It has taken me several months to find the energy to leave a True, HONEST, review. This place is ABSOLUTELY despicable! If you have it in your power do NOT leave your loved one there! Make sure you have someone present with your loved ones at all times that are allowed. When loved one was there, it was awful. The facility had a smell and looked COMPLETELY RUN DOWN AND DIRTY. You barely saw workers, they were never in high spirits, and the food looked like MUSH. It came on paper plates tossed within some saran wrap. My loved one was barely receiving the proper care there and I was even informed that no one assisted her throughout the nights. I was informed she would call for help all throughout the night and received no assistance. The organization is PREDATORY and preys on the less fortuna

I am late making this review due to a busy life and grieving the death of my father who was placed here September 3rd and who was a stroke patient James J. Styron was not properly cared for at this facility the individual nurse or whoever that was attempting to change his feeding tube at the time and failed doing so to the point my father aspirated which I’m guessing he was laying flat while they was changing him caused him to have fluid in the lungs along with him contracting pneumonia from this place which resulted in my father passing away later at candler hospital September 8th 3 days after my birthday I would never recommend anyone to place there loved one’s here when I first visited my dad September 7th he was placed on dolphin hall room 109 that hall smelled the worst I was incred

Please 🙏 make sure your loved ones are not taken here. This is a terrible place and should be placed under investigation. My family member wore a dirty diaper all night because no one showed up for their shift new years night and this happens all the time. This facility is a nightmare for anyone that shows up here. It should be shut down. However there are some people for whatever reason stay that work there that deal with it the best they can. I have the talked to a couple of them and they have my upmost respect. They deal with the absolutely the worst situations and I mean no disrespect to them. Thank you to those Of you that do what you can.

Management and staff are caring and thoughtful. Although this center is not perfect, the competency of the staff is great. The physical plant is older but clean. The facility is right on the beach and is a great place to live

This place is awful. It smells really bad, there is an ant infestation, brown marks on the wall. The bathrooms even need a key and the sink doesnt work. They steal clothes. Never send your parents or grandparents here
