OC Urgent Care- S. Huntington Beach

I came into there office with a broken left ankle and a sprained right ankle. They said they didn't have a wheel chair I could use. and made me walk to the back by exam rooms with no help. then pa came. looked at just one ankle. wrapped that ankle, gave me an anti inflamatory shot, xray orders good for a place that wasnt even open today. next they gave me crutches to use even though i just had right shoulder surgery a few months ago and I had two injured ankles. to add insult I saw a wheelchair folded up in the back of the front office. BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME!! THIS PARTICULAR BRANCH OF OC URGENT CARE TREATS THEIR PATIENTS HORRIBLY!!! I ended up going to a hospital after not getting any help from this office. I was told I have a fractured right ankle and sprained left one.

I came here when I was severely sick and needed help. I was in tears and could barely breathe and I was so relieved to finally see a doctor. The doctor came into the room and immediately treated me badly. He said, "what are you so worried about?" And "what do you want me to do?" He refused prescribe me antibiotics and did not even complete a physical exam. Extremely disturbing behavior from someone who is supposed to be a healer. It seems that this office has a chip on their shoulder when treating low income patients. Absolutely unprofessional.

I’ve had terrible experiences here, went in on a Sunday(yesterday) , right when they open, the entire office was completely empty not one single patient in there but myself. The front desk person was polite. Back office MA Listed my medical history and medications and allergies incorrectly on my chart after I reviewed it. The PA who was working no empathy and Said “do you have any more questions for me? “ Instead of asking my questions, she just kept insisting that I follow up with my OB. She did not want to answer any of my questions in relation to my treatment, and Basically treated me like I was a drug seeker. The only response I received from her was “I can’t give you a shot of Toradol.” I did not want any painkillers. I had already taken anti-inflammatories that day and I made that v

I’ve been to this urgent care twice — once for an allergic reaction and most recently when I stabbed my hand cooking. Both times Dr. Matt helped me out and he was awesome. He explains everything clearly, takes his time, and just makes you feel taken care of. The staff are super nice too. Honestly, this is the only urgent care I will be visiting from now on. Thanks guys

Will never go back. Receptionist are rude and unhelpful. Prescription was never sent in but receptionists couldn’t figure out how to resolve the issue or didn’t care. Never called me back. Still don’t have my medication 4 days later. Finally realized they dont care, they are lazy, rude, unhelpful and should be fired. Would give zero stars if possible. Maybe step up your game OC Urgent Care. Sad!!!!!
