OakLeaf Surgical Hospital

I had surgery there yesterday 3-2-26 with Dr. Nelson from West Wisconsin Urology.. I am from Kansas City Missouri. From the time I walked in to the time I left this AM I had superior patient care from the CNA, RN, and MDs Food was excellent as well. They listened to me explained everything from Pre-OP to post to me very patiently and with me being autistic and scared it meant allot to me. I am not the easiest person sometimes to deal with sometimes and being in pain scared did not help along with some serious problems going on my personal life I brought to there facility. I never felt they were ever upset at me and were companionate. It's clear everyone on the team was working together and focused on my care and with each other. I had an excellent experience from registration to going home after the procedure. Every nurse, doctor, and other staff member I encountered truly went above and beyond. Everything was explained in terms that were easy to understand. I felt extremely cared for and informed. Surgery can be such a stressful experience but I knew I was in good hands with this facility and the professionals there. My nurses really took their time to make sure I understood my post-op instructions and wasn’t in pain after the surgery. Being sent home with a meal was a really nice touch! Whenever I arrived home, I received a Well Wishes card signed by my care team which was such a pleasant surprise, it brought tears to my eyes! Thank you all so very, very much for everything. Awesome experience at this surgical hospital! Everyone was kind, helpful, and made me feel extremely comfortable during my time there. Also, the food is delicious! Thank you to all of the nurses and doctors who helped me through my surgery!!

I would give them a higher rating if I wasn't being harassed for additional payments. I have been making monthly payments online since my surgery in 2025. I have not missed a month. I get called by their billing department asking for additional payments. I remind them I am making monthly payments online and haven't missed one and asked why I'm being asked to make more than one payment per (calendar) month. They won't stop calling. I could understand if I was missing payments, but I'm not.

I had an outpatient procedure at oakleaf surgical hospital this past month. Everything from the pre op, to the operation, to the post operation follow up was great. Every person I encountered was friendly, kind, informative, and up to date on my care. It felt like the whole team of doctors, assistants, nurses, etc was on the same page - the whole thing felt cohesive and smooth.
