Oakes Animal Hospital

I have not used an actual vet since 2019. I was use to taking my girl to the mobile vet due her great health and the low price. However, at the end of 2024, she began developing a growth in her genital area. Labs are prone to lipomas so I didn't think much of it -- however it kept growing and growing and GROWING. I recently moved to this area and knew she had to be seen. I was dreading going back to a vet, just due to cost and not knowing them -- I looked up several offices in the area and felt the reviews for this one was best. Guess what? I was RIGHT. I can not say enough good things about this office. The people, the care, the price, the communication, the expectation -- they met all of it. I've went to a few vets offices for my cats before finding Oakes Animal Hospital. I am so grateful to finding them. Oakes Animal Hospital deserves way more than 5 stars!! Oakes Animal Hospital has been there for me in good times, emergency times and through sad times! They really care about you and your concerns with your furbabies. They really listen to you! I’ve been coming here for 6 years. I used to live right next door, now I live 30 minutes away but still come because they are so kind, accommodating, and take such good care of my dogs. I have two doodles, and bring them for visits regularly and they always get treats and are treated so kindly. Oakes has gotten me in last minute for emergencies, helped answer simple questions over the phone or through text without charging me or making me come in unless it was necessary, and is extremely consistent and reliable. There’s nowhere and no one else I’d rather trust with my dogs.

After having another vet for my Maltese over the past year, I decided to change providers for several reasons, all of which satisfied my concerns over the prior clinic I was going to. The first thing I noticed about Oakes was how clean it appeared, and the sincere friendliness of the front staff. The other clinic I went to did not feel that way at all. Adam, the Vet Tech, and Dr. Rocky were awesome! Very thorough with their assessments and care with my very skittish little guy. All my questions and concerns were answered to my satisfaction and I did not feel rushed in any way. Thank you all for the care you gave my little Tully.
