Oakdale Community Hospital

One of the worst hospitals ever. My husband cut his knee open a few weeks ago and they never gave him a pain medicine for it. Now we are back here bc he’s very dehydrated and in pain bc of his gallbladder and they won’t do anything about it. We have been here for 2 hours and they haven’t even did anything. My husband has been suffering in pain for the last 2 hours. WILL NOT RETURN HERE!

Was at the er a few weeks ago. Went to get my bill today and there is stuff on there that I didn't have done they won't remove it. And I have absolutely no way to prove it other than i know what i didand didnot receive. On top of that the er doc is try to charge me 2500 plus an ekg. This is ridiculous!

So I just had a major heart attack last night. Went to the ER in oakdale and got literally the most reassuring and life saving treatment possible. The cardiac surgeon at Cabrini where they flew me to, said had it not been for the ER staff at oakdale, I wouldn't have made it through the night. I wish I knew that lady's name. She promised me I was going to be ok, and she was right.

I hated this hospital for 10 years. A true advocate for passing it right up! But recently I ran into health problems that forced me to test the waters. And with everywhere there are bad lemons, we can't help that but there are 2 nurses (not sure of rank) and one doctor , I only met the doctor once but I had the nurses on both visits and.... yall amazing! I feel way better today and its only day 1. I appreciate you so much and if you see this I hope you know who you are!

Please do not go here if you have covid and are getting an IV infusion. (The nurse was great) But their “policy” is to make you stand outside in the heat with no seating until they have processed your paper work and get you a room ready. Anywhere from 15-35 minutes! No matter how sick you are and that you’re about to pass out from coughing so much from sever symptoms of covid. They don’t care!! Go out of town. Cabrini can do the same thing for you. I won’t be going back here for anything and they won’t be milking my insurance for anything in the future.
