NYU Langone Radiology—Metropolitan Diagnostic Imaging—Garden City

This is a beautiful center.Valet parking available. Beautiful waiting areas and spacious enough that you don’t feel too closed to other visitors. The decor is Esthetically pleasing to the eyes. The team members I have encountered have always been pleasant. Reason for low rating is the wait time. . I have been here several times. Diff times of the year. Wait time is getting worse… today Wait time of over forty minutes was unacceptable and prompted this review. OverScheduling or understaffed?

The facility is immaculate. No issues checking in and nice reception staff. Susan was the tech for my mammogram and she was so kind, pleasant and efficient. After that, the tech for my ultrasound, Kaitlyn, was very nice and also proficient. Patients don't look forward to either of these procedures so it definitely helps to be treated by such caring, respectful and pleasant staff. I would give more them 5 stars if I could!

I've had only positive experiences here. Unfortunately I've had to have several MRIs done lately and each time has been pleasant, professional, and efficient. This new facility (the old Sears building) is lovely and clean. I don't like parking underground so I just park across Franklin where there are tons of spots, and then walk across.

A lot of times, we tend to only leave a review when we have a bad experience, so I want to leave NYU Langone a 5 star review but a special 10 stars to Tara who did my mammogram and Victoria who did my ultrasound. Thank you both for taking great care of me, laughing with me, taking my nerves away and also educating me on what the tests were for and how everything worked. Tara kept me laughing which definitely made the mammogram less painful. She really is a great addition to the medical field. Victoria was very informative and educated me on my exam. When I told Victoria that I had Tara for my mammo, she smiled and said "Tara is so wonderful." This place is clean, I was in and out as they were on time (even went in earlier), no issues with parking and just over great place in my opinion and

I came here twice in the past month. I was nervous to go here as a walk-in due to the bad reviews. The first time was for a shoulder x-ray walk in, I went at 9am on a weekday and waited only 10 minutes. Margaret performed my x-ray and she’s so nice. In and out in 15 minutes. Today I had an appt scheduled through my doctor for a chest x-ray at 12:30pm. I arrived 12:20pm and was called in at 12:29pm and was out of there at 12:33pm. Margaret performed my x-ray again!
