NYU Langone Radiology at 765 Stewart Avenue is excellent. The location is convenient with plenty of free parking (spots can be tight, but there are many). The building is easy to navigate, with a directory and elevators on the first floor. My test was on the second floor, where the waiting area was comfortable with chairs, magazines, and TV. Check-in was fast and smooth thanks to Nicole at the front desk - since I did my paperwork online, all they needed was my ID and insurance card. My radiologist, Kelsey, was professional and efficient, and the test itself was very quick. Afterward, I asked for a CD of my results, and they had it ready for me within five minutes. I decided to write a review of this imaging practice because I and my wife and I have found it to be among the most professional operations with which we have we have dealt. From the actual phone call I made to schedule an appointment for a test, to my arrival, to the manner in which I was greeted by the office staff, to the way the ultrasound technologist dealt with me, I am convinced that whoever runs HR and set the standards for hiring, really knows what he or she is doing. This has been consistently among the most professional medical operations I have dealt with and believe me, I have dealt with some that are sorely lacking. Rude receptionist (lady) did not attempt to help my mother check in as she is not good with technology. You’ll receive a wide variety of ages and of course not everyone is going to be proficient with technology use. Working in the medical field and I doubt at 7pm you’d be as busy the least you can do is get up from your seat and assist.

Had an appt for an MRI of my shoulder. Your told to get there a half hour before hand. Arrived and told that the person in front of me had an issue and they were running a half hour late. So I was there for an hour before I was seen. Once I got into the room for the MRI the technician was rude, I started to have an anxiety attack and I said I've been sitting outside for an hour and the technician, Emina looked me in the face and said it was a half hour. This is the type of caring team you have on staff there. I was supposed to have compassion and empathy for the person before me but because she is now running late, she is going to give me an attitude. I literally stood up and walked out. I will never go to this office again. Not once did she ask if I was okay. She just stood there

Had a appt fir my grandma for 2 weeks for a chest x rays. I checked her in, fill the paperwork and even sat down for a good 5-10 min. The front desk told me that they weren't doing x rays that day and scheduled me for another location
