Nuvance Health Medical Practice - Neurology Norwalk

Do not go here. There is a really good nurse practitioner, but I am a disabled USMC veteran and I have had positive test for neuropathy on my arms and legs earlier than even 2008. I went to get a EMG by Dr. Cuzzone because the staff said oh he can do all four limbs in one appointment and he doesn’t hurt you well I learned that it’s because he doesn’t do the thorough job he’s supposed to. He only takes about 20 minutes for all four limbs doesn’t even put the needle where he’s supposed to because I’ve had them done twice before in California. I’m dropping things and falling and it’s part of my VA disability and that office with his test tried to say I had no neuropathy when is a document and disability from the VA themselves from two different EMGs From California from over 20 years ago, but

Doctor Fitzpatrick was a good doctor in the beginning of treatment then became judgemental of my medical conditions that he was supposed to be treating, while be respectful and courteous to his patients but I see now he likes to blame his patients for his own mistakes, and hide medical records from his patients! I strongly feel he needs to be retrained on how to treat patients with kindness, respect and courtesy and give fair equal medical treatment and I give doctor Luis leon 4 out of 5 stars when I saw him for care, the younger doctors can learn much from some the older ones. Nuvance health gives excuses in why they withhold your medical records and medical records department state that they choose if patients have rights to there records or not. I was told by Dr. Taraban that my mother’s test results were a “problem but no problem.” After not being able to understand her and concerned about her competency, we asked to switch to Dr. Fitzpatrick. We were able to understand him and took his advice to get a 24 hour EEG. This test was absolutely stressful and awful for someone with dementia and she ended up ripping the wires and head wrapping off before the 24 hours was up. I brought the EEG machine in to the technician at norwalk hospital in a bag and we both left crying. About three or so days later I called Dr. Fitzpatrick’s office and left a message wondering why no one has contacted us regarding any possible results or the fact that there was a failed test that was deemed medically necessary. Love this place Dr. Yuliya Koshkina is the best neurologist I have ever have worked with. She is thorough!
