I am extremely disappointed with the care my son received from Dr. Fatma Ergin at NuHeights Pediatrics. My son has been experiencing severe stomach pain for several days. He has not been eating, appears to be losing weight, has difficulty sleeping, and cries daily due to the pain. We went to the ER and followed protocol by scheduling a follow-up with his pediatrician the next day. During the appointment, I thoroughly explained his symptoms and concerns. Instead of evaluating him further or offering next steps, Dr. Ergin repeatedly told us to take him back to the ER. Been bringing my child here since his first newborn visit. The staff and Doctors have all been pleasant and very helpful. Took my son in for a visit today and noticed a make shift extension in a power outlet behind the staffs desk. Looks like a fire hazard waiting to happen. Overall great visit, let’s make sure we take care of our staff and keep them safe as well.

We unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with this pediatric practice. Communication was consistently difficult, and it was often hard to reach the office by phone or to schedule appointments in a reasonable timeframe. In our experience, follow-up was a major issue. We were repeatedly told that we would be contacted with test results, but that follow-up often did not happen. We also found interactions with the office staff, particularly over the phone, to be unprofessional and at times discourteous, which made already stressful situations more difficult. The one exception to our experience was Dr. Thomas, who was kind and attentive in her care. She was the only consistently positive part of our time with this practice, and we appreciated her professionalism.

When I paused her to ask for clarification, she appeared visibly upset, which was both unprofessional and uncomfortable. As a new client, this was a terrible first impression and an experience I would never want another parent to go through. I left feeling frustrated, disregarded, and unsupported. I would not recommend Dr. Ergin to families looking for a compassionate or attentive provider. I wish there were a negative review option. She would get a negative before the number of her age.

I am writing this to warn other parents about the deceptive business practices and lack of professionalism at NuHeights Pediatrics. My experience has been a nightmare due to their complete lack of due diligence regarding insurance. In-Network Misinformation: The office staff told us they were in-network. This resulted in significant overcharges. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, they shifted the entire blame onto me.
