My total knee replacement outcome with Dr. Shutte and his team has been nothing short of miraculous. I learned that my knee was "the worst he had seen in the OR in a long time..." and yet, I am walking around pain-free less than three weeks from my surgery. I can honestly say I'm LOOKING FORWARD to having the other knee done in a few weeks. The entire group associated with Dr. Schutte, from the front-office folks who make appointments to the NP who provides the informative mandatory class to the on-call nurses who answer questions for probably the millionth time, are professional and caring. I highly recommend Dr. Schutte and the folks at CIAO!

Most team members here are amazing providers, but I did not have a good experience with Terri Blackwell today. I want to share this as feedback, as being in medicine your demeanor can have a huge impact on your patient. This was one of the worst medical experiences I've had. I went for a 2nd opinion knee pain. My appointment was at 12:30, I wasn't seen until 1:35, so I was naturally a little frustrated as it was the middle of the work day. There was no physical exam completed. She said my Xray was "bone on bone" for my front look and did show me. This scared me, because my last xray a couple months ago looked nothing like this. I am so pleased with the results of my total knee replacement surgery performed by Dr Schutte. He is an excellent surgeon and his staff is top notch. Everyone person I met was courteous, attentive, knowledgeable and engaged in every visit. I highly recommend them!

I saw Dr. Schutte for a hip revision in 2017 because the replacement I received from another doctor kept dislocating. Dr. Schutte is THE go-to guy for hip replacement and revisions. He did a wonderful job, prayed with us before surgery and he has a wonderful mannerism. He will be doing my left shoulder replacement in July. He is one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the area.

Dr Schutte and staff are excellent. He did double hip replacement for me in 2020 when there was nothing else to do to relieve my pain and loss of mobility. It was miraculous. I didn't know how bad I was until my hips were replaced. I highly recommend this practice!
