I was impressed by the nurses and doctors during my last visit to the Emergency Room. When I arrived, I was seen quickly by the admitting nurse and then moved to a room. The doctor arrived shortly after I was settled and explained next steps. After tests were run, the doctor explained the results and what I needed to do after discharge. I'm happy they are so close and very satisfied with my care.

I am from Georgia, but was on vacation when I got a kidney infection and ended up in the ER in the early morning of Thanksgiving. I haven’t been to the ER many times in my life but I can tell you that this was the best experience I have ever had at a hospital. I was seen immediately upon checking in, and the male nurse was so kind and placed the best, least painful IV I have ever had in my life. Dr. Golan came in within minutes of being triaged to talk about course of action. She also gave me an estimated time I would spend in the ER…AND IT WAS CORRECT! They took time to explain my plan of care, eased any anxieties I had, and got me back to my family just in time for the festivities! I can’t say enough good things about my experience. Keep up the good work!!

Nurse Leslie on the second floor is the most insensitive, abrasive, unsympathetic nurse! I don't understand how she is still a nurse at this hospital. My family is here with my grandmother who is sick and we can hear her scolding another family all the way down the hall. The family is crying because of how she is treating them. And apparently this is known to hospital staff but she continues on the floor. If this is how she treats family members wanting to know about patient care, then I can only imagine how she treats the patients when family isn't present. Thank goodness we're here to witness her behavior and warn others. I just hope that this hospital investigates for themselves for the sake of the patients. It's no wonder they only have a 2 star rating.

We went here last night for a visit in the emergency room. We were there for 6 hours while we waited for labs and a CT scan reading. During the 6 hours not once did anyone come in and ask how my wife was doing or advised what was taking so long. The only information we ever received was when I went out and asked someone. All during this time the staff was outside the rooms talking and joking. To top it off they provided her with 3 prescriptions which we took the next day to Walgreens who informed her that the paper prescription which was provided wasn’t on legally eligible paper (not a proper prescription ) so they wouldn’t fill it. I would advise everyone to avoid this hospital unless it’s a last resort. Definitely the worst experience I have ever been involved with at a hospital.

I stayed in the hospital twice during October. During my first stay, the doctors and nurses were very caring, and although the room was old, it was in decent condition. However, it was clear that the nursing staff was understaffed and over worked. My second stay, about a week later, was a different experience. It was again noticeable that the nurses were short-staffed, and there seemed to be miscommunication between the nurses and doctors. The most concerning issue, however, was the condition of the shower in room 329 — it was the worst I have ever seen. it is not a housekeeping issue is a maintenance issue. I don’t understand how this facility is allowed to operate in such conditions. The food was terrible. Please see attached pictures for reference.
