They had 2.8 stars two weeks ago. I urge you to skip this urgent care. I am deeply disturbed by my experience at this urgent care and feel compelled to share it for patient-safety reasons. I presented feeling genuinely unwell and concerned about a possible throat infection. A medical technician performed a rapid strep test, which came back negative. However, I had immediate concerns about the technique used and whether the tonsillar area was adequately sampled. Because of this concern — and given my background as a registered nurse — I requested permission to perform the throat culture swab myself to ensure proper technique and adequate sampling. Excellent care! As soon as my son's accident happened. I googled them, made our appointment, and was seen within 25 minutes, including drive time across Asheville. His nurse and doctor were great. And follow up inquiries were immediate and thoughtful.

I visited the Urgent Care Centre on 9 November whilst visiting friends in the US (I am from the UK). During the visit I developed a gum infection and so as I am not registered with a US dentist I went to the centre and was seen after paying their fee. I was given a prescription for which I paid the pharmacy and that was the end of the matter as far as I was concerned. Imagine my surprise, therefore, upon returning to the UK and, whilst checking my bank statement, I discovered that Novant who run this centre had set up a payment arrangement and had already taken a further $69 from myself using the card details that I had supplied when making the fee payment. I had not agreed to any payment plan as I am not a US citizen and so would have no need of such a plan...I have had to cancel my c

My husband and I were able to schedule a same-day appointment, and our wait-time was minimal, after we arrived. Staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Greene is excellent. He asked pertinent questions, listened attentively, provided appropriate care, and prescribed the medicine that helped us feel better.

This place was great! My sister injured herself while we were on a jog nearby, and she needed stitches. Within two hours, we were in and out, and she got 10 stitches. The people were so kind, friendly, and reassuring. If you’re in a pinch and need medical help, I wouldn’t hesitate to go there!
