Novak Lawrence M MD, FACS

Rushed to the Cape Cod Hospital for diverticulitis. Was treated with antibiotics but when I started throwing up, they knew it had burst. Enter Dr. Lawrence Novak with his outstanding knowledge, bedside manner, and patience explaining everything to me. He earned the "Chief of Staff" position. His "fairly new" surgery procedure was based upon another surgeon so I knew he kept up with the latest techniques. He saved my life because of this. I knew I had a great doctor when every nurse said, "I love Dr Novak". He even recommended a top robotic surgeon when he realized my 3 massive hernias could cause abdominal failure. How many doctors do you know that forgo their pride to do this? Thank you Dr Novak and the staff at Cape Cod Hospital.

Dr. Novak performed laparoscopic gall bladder surgery on me in April, 2021. Results were excellent and I recovered almost immediately. I had minor sensitivity in only 2 of the 5 incision areas and only for a couple days. I felt very good as early as the same afternoon of the surgery. At my post-op appointment 2 weeks after surgery, he was very attentive and gave adequate time to easily and adequately answer all my questions. He was both personable and professional and I am of the opinion he did an excellent job surgically.

Dr Novak did emergency surgery on me last week. I can't speak highly enough about how nice, compassionate, efficient and helpful he and all the Drs and nurses that worked with him are. Thank you all, its been a week since I had my appendix removed and I'm playing with my daughter again like nothing happened already! God bless all of you!
