Norwalk Hospital

Stay away!!! Horrible hospital! I don’t know where to begin! Looking to move out of Norwalk because hospital is so bad and in an emergency they take you here. You might as well die at home. They should be investigated.

The staff can be rude. The emergency room staff usually spend the time joking and laughing. They are slow to answer the call bell. I have a walked out of the ER several times the service was so bad. Unfortunately I live in Norwalk so I have to use the hospital.

NEGLECT AND ABUSE AT THE NORWALK HOSPITAL In November 3 ; 2022 , I had a surgery at the Norwalk Hospital, (Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy) that was scheduled for 11; 30 am, and I was supposed to be in the hospital at 10; 30 am, at 3; 30 pm of November 2 nobody had called to confirm the procedure, my husband called and to our surprise the surgical intervention had changed for 7; 30 am and had to be there at 6; 30 am, at 5; 00 pm someone called to say that the schedule surgery had changed for 6; 00 am. Before the surgery the surgeon indicated me that the procedure to follow was surgery, but do not inform us of any other alternative, later we found out that there were several alternative treatments (Medicines to dissolve gallstones, shock wave treatment or endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancr
