Northwoods Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

I don’t even give them ONE STAR but had too so we could make this review !!!!!!!Horrible facility and place was filthy along with the staff . We were never told of Covid cases when we walked into facility to visit our loved one . They lied thru their teeth about dad eating and he ended up being rushed to ER AND Passed away few days later . Staff neglected him and did not follow thru with proper care of his needs . Within 3 days our father passed away !!!!!!!!WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS place for your loved ones !!!! Sickens us on how our elders are treated when they’ve dedicated their whole lives to us !!!!!!!

What a wonderful place! My lifelong best friend is currently a patient at Northwoods. We are "small-town folk" ... although, I have been a nurse for 40+ years at organizations in big cities. I am accustomed to being the 'caretaker' in my family and for my group of friends: however, due to my own current medical issues, I'm not able to be with my loved one nearly as often as I would expect of myself. It is hard to watch someone you love, struggle ... and not be able to help them through this challenging phase of life. I am repeatedly touched by the kindness the staff of this facility shows to my family and friends. They treat us "like family" ... and even though I hate leaving, I know this team of caretakers, are good people that I can trust will do their best for my friend.

My wife was at Northwoods for 2 weeks for short-term physical rehabilitation. Though I wasn't allowed to visit her in the facility they did allow me to see her through her room window. They kept me updated daily with her progress every time I called. They treated her with respect that she deserves. She is basically bed bound and they helped her every day with her activities of daily living. I highly recommend this place.

You'll earn that perfect rating back when you remove the lack of professionalism from your staff.
