Northwestern Medicine Student Health Service

Front desk staff is very nice and helpful all times I have visited. However, I was charged a stupidly high amount for the services I received (flu test and covid test) which could have been performed via stuff one could buy at CVS and the doctor failed to identify my pneumonia. Don't expect anything to be covered or discounted if you are a student despite the student health fee paid every quarter -- it is just a cash grab. The Immediate Care on Sherman Ave is much better.

The staff at the pharmacy is so bad. Yesterday, they told me they can’t accept Apple Pay, then I went back home to get my credit card. Then, told me if I wanted to use my insurance to buy the medicine, you need to come here tomorrow. Next day, I went there in the morning, they told me after 1 pm I can get my medicine. Could you tell me everything in one time? Speechless

The lady who answers the phone is the rudest and most disrespectful person I have ever encountered. She mocks you if you don’t understand what she says and even imitates the way you speak. It’s unacceptable and disappointing that Northwestern University students have to experience this.

The front desk and a doctor here are not very nice. They treat students like strangers and OBVIOUSLY they do not care about them. All nurses are nice though! Hope that the Northwestern U Student Affairs will actually look into this...

The employees are kind, but the other patients are often quite rude to me whenever I go in for my weekly prostate exam. -------------------- Very great services, I'm actually pretty surprised that such an effective institution exists at Northwestern.
