I have suffered with migraines all my life. The neurologists Dr.s Grindstaff and Nager worked with me to find the right treatment to ease my suffering over the years and told me about food triggers that most google searches don't list, we were able to narrow it down. Migraines (real ones, not the headaches that go away with a little nap and an Advil) are really debilitating and painful beyond a non-migraine sufferer's wildest dreams. I am so grateful for their knowledge and wisdom. Some people complain about the office not checking their insurance but seriously, you as the one holding the insurance are responsible for knowing what your insurance covers and what guidelines you must follow. My husband had 2 huge seizures on 12/22/23. We had him transported to NW Huntley. In ICU. Hospital was amazing. Neurologist want to see him in 4 weeks, couldn’t get in for 8 and that was with a PA, which was what is was. The past 2 months he’s been slowly changing, called NW Neurology. The person on the phone said the PA we saw was out of town. I asked about the Dr. Was told he wasn’t available. Asked about a different Dr and was told we couldn’t see another Dr until October. We were told to call our primary. I asked twice “you want me to call a general physician for my husbands neurological issue and was told yes”. Bottom line we are at an advocate hospital with new Neurologists and he was diagnosed with a mass in his frontal lobe and is having surgery on Wednesday. Once again hospital wa

Very thankful that everyone at this facility and MD Nager were able to help me get seen and taken care of. Their covid screening procedure is clean and organized and they made me feel safe to come in for my appointment during these hard times. MD Nager was able to help me get treatment and work towards a better quality of life.

Office will not check with other offices for testing to see if insurance covers the visit. They also won't verify if current insurance is on file. Arrived at my MRI to find out I had a copay of $1300. Do not come here if you need serious neurological assistance, they won't return your calls or their own calls.

After dealing with severe neck pain and numbness on my left side, I was told that I needed to go to this location to get an EMG. When I arrived, I filled out paperwork, a short wait and then was let in to get said EMG. Dr. Nager did the procedure and after about five minutes, he finally warmed up to me. He told me that I needed an MRI stat! So, I want to Huntley to get said MRI. Three days later, no phone call. I had to call back only to be told that they "forgot to call me." Wow, so, you have me go for an emergency MRI but treat the situation like it's nothing? Finally, the girl reads the results to me but I could barely understand what she saying because she's apparently digesting the phone in the process.
