Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care Lincoln Square

I used to come here a lot but lately it’s been really weird. I have insurance and this is the second time I’ve been told to go to another location for my problems. I don’t know what’s going on at this location. I’m a loyal northwestern and this is the only medical group I go too. This time they told me everything is filled but there is literally no one is the lobby at all

Wasted my time because online said they were only taking walk-ins. Got there and the receptionist said they were only taking reservations. One was lying. Call ahead because you probably need IMMEDIATE care if you're going to one of these places, and this one has no issue pissing away an hour of that. EDIT: tried again another time with an appointment. Was told they don't accept my insurance even though I've been seen at another Northwestern location and the website says they accept it. Was told it should've been caught during booking. I guess call ahead to make sure your insurance is accepted. Loved having my time profoundly wasted a second time! Also, a sign before entering says you must wear a Northwestern issued mask for respiratory season. Literally zero patients were masked even tho

I had a doctors orders for a blood test but they insisted that I wait in line with the immediate care patients. After half an hour and numerous others walking in and getting their blood drown right away, I left. Poor service.

Less than stellar experience here. Was not greeted in any way by the receptionist when I walked in. A guy came in a few minutes after me to ask about some records, and the other receptionist was quite friendly to him. The one who "helped "me barked orders at me like a robot. When I asked her to repeat herself, she seemed annoyed. I was the only patient at the clinic, but the practitioner who took my blood pressure was cold and unpleasant and seemed like she wanted to be somewhere else. After she took my BP she didn't give me my reading. (Doesn't everyone wanna know what her blood pressure reading is? I asked for it. This seemed to annoy her. She said she would test for strep but didn't explain how things were gonna go down. I had to ask. Again, she seemed annoyed. She jammed a swab down

I received an outrageous bill 8 months after my visit here. I made an appointment, showed up only to be told it wasn’t guaranteed I’d be seen. They gave me an option for a teledoc slot while there which I took. I spoke with a doctor over the phone, was given a Covid/strep and flu test and I was on my way. 8 months later I received a bill. My insurance covered 2/3 of a bill that totaled over $900. I’m on the hook for the rest. The telephone call cost $330. I’ll never go here again and I wouldn’t recommend their services.
