Northwell Health Physician Partners Dermatology at Great River

My daughter had an appointment. I left work early to pick her up from school. Drove to the doctors office and at check in just to be told her nurse isn’t in so they cant see her. I asked if there’s anyone else that can take care of it and just very dismissive said no we can reschedule. No phone call no heads up. If they had called myself or my wife before I took my daughter out of school I wouldn’t really care because things happen. I Do not recommend northwell health dermatology great river.

The customer service reps at check out AND OVER THE PHONE-told me since i have Northwell direct insurance i have $0 co-pays, this was told to me by at least SIX different people, so I saw my doctor 2 more times, as i had serious infection/issues. i am NOW RECEIVING $1,076 BILL. I AM OUTRAGED WITH THE CARELESSNESS TO EVEN CHECK. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!

Dr Huh is absolutely great and so in touch with knowing exactly what's wrong. The receptionists are always so kind and helpful. I am always in and out of the office which makes taking off time from work for the doctor really helpful.

The receptionists are extremely nasty. A patient signed his name on the clipboard and she rudely called him back by saying “sir I can’t read scribble”. Patients in any doctors office should be spoken to with respect as we do not want to be here in the first place. Very rude and unprofessional. You will wait in the waiting room for 20+ minutes and wait a month+ to get a call back for your test results. Dr. Huh is great tho :)

I had an appointment for Dr. Septon as a new patient. I was waiting for 45 minutes before I left. I heard the woman next to me had an appointment before me and she didn’t even get seen yet. It makes NO sense that appointments are backed up by 45 minutes in the morning! We just started the day. I could understand if it was afternoon but we were the first appointments. And no one at the front desk warned you about the long wait time either. I’m never going back.
