Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care

After being turned away from an urgent care in Mount Kisco because they didn’t accept my insurance, I didn’t have high hopes — but GoHealth Urgent Care in Yorktown Heights completely changed that. From the moment I walked in, the staff were kind, courteous, and efficient. I was seen quickly, and the doctor was thorough, attentive, and prescribed medication that genuinely helped with my bronchitis. Overall, I had an excellent experience. Professional, caring, and efficient — I truly have nothing negative to say. I’m extremely happy with the care I received and would absolutely recommend this location.

The reserved spot option online was super convenient, as well as check in. I arrived early and was able to be seen in minutes. I really liked the provider. He was clear, understanding of my current situation as a caregiver to a cancer patient, and thoroughly discussed home remedies to my symptoms. Your personnell are all great, however your robot and computer system is not working. Your robo phone is too time consuming. The email link sends me astray to the wrong entity, healow, which Gohealth does not use and does not allow me to access any info via home computer with windows. There is no link. Trying to follow instructions via smart phone comes to dead ends . Extremely frustrating. I gave up and went directly to the Yorktown facility. Great people, Furthermore, the inital sign up does not work either, too complicated, wants pictures of insurance cards. Elderly people like me are overwhelmed. Unable to make reservation on line. Then Northwell has all my info, yet the Northwell Urgent care seems to be run by Gohealth, which cannot access my info. Northwell can see Gohealth, but not

BEST care by Dr. Maks and his staff ever! Never been to this facility before but bc of ins changes had no choice. I was given undivided attention & care beyond your typical Dr's office or any urgent care. Amazing!

I tried to make an appointment online for today before opening time. I thought perhaps the system didn’t open up until 9 so tried back later. Eventually I stopped by for a walk-in, it was empty except for 1 person waiting. The receptionist told me it was a 1-2 hour wait for walk-ins, and explained that the reason I couldn’t make an appointment online was because they were already booked up. Feels ridiculous - and honestly like a deterrence mechanism - that it would be a 1-2 hour wait given that no one was there. I already know I have strep and need antibiotics; it will take 5 minutes to confirm and write a prescription. Sorry I didn’t know I was going to need this appointment before I was sick I guess??? It makes sense that an urgent care would be busy this time of year, but I have two
