Northside Hospital Interventional Pain & Spine Care - Gwinnett

All of the stars go to the front desk, check in staff, and nurses. They have all been kind, empathetic, and understanding to me from the minute I walked in. I want to especially shout out the nurses who have assisted me. Not only have they provided “5 star” worthy care, but they’ve been knowledgeable, outstanding, and are truly an asset to the medical practice of pain management. The providers are another story. I’ve seen three providers and only Dr. Doula was not disappointing and discouraging to me. As someone with a Bachelors of Science, and someone who works in healthcare, I prefer my doctor’s appointments to be DISCUSSIONS about my health, rather than quick in-out visits based off whether or not a medication was helpful for me. It appears to me that the providers saw me as a patter

My spouse and I are extremely grateful to the doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, and staff members at Northside Interventional Pain and Spine Management Care - Gwinnett for their continued support in treating my spouse with kindness, understanding, and patience. We are also very grateful for his case worker, Michelle - who goes beyond expectations in collaboration with the insurance company, and the pharmacy to obtain appropriate compliances.

I had my consult appointment. Dr Almasi decided to do an injection. I had that set up and done. He explained everything in great detail. Asked if I understood and did I have questions. I want to note. All the staff front desk, registration, nurse taking history, everyone. I am horrible with names. But EVERYONE made this appointment great. As well as the injection. I felt nothing. And he showed me the procedure as doing it. I was very happy they let me watch. Very interesting. Thank you all for helping me try to reach my goal of no pain and better mobility.

Wonderful staff!! I was in so much pain and needed a blood patch epidural to fix a complication after a lumbar puncture. When we called (referred by my radiologist) they were kind and accommodating. The overall vibe of the center was lovely. They made me feel so comfortable and reassured me through the entire process. You can tell everyone there genuinely enjoys working there. During my procedure they worked as a cohesive team. 10/10

I really like this pain management clinic. I have been seen at this office for close to 20 years. Now in that time they have gone through quite a few changes as have we, the patients. When I first started seeing them, I was a Hospital employee. They were under Gwinnett Medical Center and there was a completely different group of physicians(who I loved). It's hard when there is such a huge change but sometimes you just gotta roll with it until things work themselves out. When Northside Hospital came in and took over, they essentially saved Gwinnett Hospital System. Gwinnett Hospital started out with a big charitable heart but unfortunately the reality is that a big charitable heart doesn't pay the bills to keep the doors open. I was very put off by the demand for co-payments and money up fr
