Northside Hospital Gwinnett

I recently visited Northside Hospital to take care of some business, and I had an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Ms. Angela guided me right to where I needed to go, and then Ms. Nila was so patient and supportive as she helped me with all the paperwork. This is truly one of the best hospitals everyone should come here!

I had my first surgery of my life at this hospital. The surgical team was AMAZING!!!! My pre op nurse Tracy was so comforting, she overheard that this was my first surgery and instantly gave me a hug. She stayed with me the entire time until I was taken into the OR. My other pre op nurse DeAvion was so nice and comforting before and after my surgery. The OR team made everything so easy. If you are having surgery here you will be in excellent hands.

My mom had a heart attack and needed quad bypass surgery. The doctors were great. The nurses were outstanding. The nurses went above and beyond to make my mom as comfortable as she could be. The staff listened to us and made us feel seen and heard. My mom is still here because of all of them. My family is very grateful for Northside Hospital Gwinnett. I almost never left my mom's side, and I was impressed by their dedication and commitment to my mom and other patients. I could not have asked for better surgeon, doctors, nurses, hospital staff, and hospital than Northside Hospital Gwinnett. If you ever need (and I hope not) to go to a hospital, I doubt you could do better than Northside Hospital Gwinnett.

The ER treatment here isn't the best. They try their best to get to you in a timely manner, but once you get beyond triage the care is nonexistent. During my visit I was given two strong narcotics but no one even questioned my tolerance, or who would be driving me home!! I was in so much pain I took the medicine without asking the dosage... which was much too trusting on my part! Because I rarely take pain medication, I have a pretty low tolerance. Along with antibiotics, I received a prescription for an allergy/pain medication but no option just for pain. When I asked to speak to the person who prescribed the medicine, so I could understand why... I was denied. Instead the lady who discharged me made me wait half an hour and just googled it!! She claimed initially it was orajel, but afte

Please beware. Some of the doctors who work at Northside are great. Some of the doctors are not so great. Please if your family member is in the hospital DO NOT follow any doctors orders to come to their office to obtain any medications to administer to your loved ones while they are still in the hospital. It is illegal and makes you at fault if anything happens to your loved ones if they experience side effects from the medication the doctor told you to pick up and administer. If they did not bring the medication with them why would you go pick up any medications from the doctors office to administer while your loved one is still in the hospital. Their Infectious disease doctors threatened me and told me I need to do exactly what I warning you not to do. Luckily I called a doctor who told
