I would have liked to leave a 5 star review as my interactions with Dr. Gray have been very positive, but I can’t say the same for the hygienist I had or the front office staff. My first visit was for a cleaning and an oral exam by Dr. Gray. The cleaning went fine and I was impressed with Dr. Gray. However, in my second cleaning (4 months later) the hygienist performed a periodontal probing and was jamming the probe down so hard I was trying to not scream in pain. When I questioned her, she told me that everyone before was doing it wrong. Really … my periodontist doesn’t know how to do a periodontal exam?! Then the hygienist proceeded to clean my teeth using an ultrasonic scaler as is normal. Then she polished my teeth, then used a manual scaler on my teeth. Polishing has always occurred l
