Northern Virginia Gastroenterology - Sterling VA

Everything seemed to be going great! I was able to schedule a routine colonoscopy in relatively short time. My procedure was scheduled for the week after I returned from a much needed vacation (a Thursday). I received a confirmation phone call while I was on vacation (late Thursday prior to procedure) and was prepared to proceed the following week (Thursday). When I returned to work the Monday morning before my procedure, I was informed by my employer of a meeting scheduled for the Thursday of my procedure which required my attendance. I immediately called Northern Virginia Gastroenterology to reschedule. It was then that I was informed that their practice was completely inflexible to changes in their patient’s schedule and that a $300 (yes, three hundred dollar) missed appointment f

I went in to see Dr Chand for pain in my left side, that’s been going on for a few years now. She was an hour late, and then came in and had the audacity to act rude to me as well as being bothered by my questions, saying “I’ve been doing this a while” Ive never been treated so rudely by any dr I’ve seen before. She wouldn’t properly listen to me, and i felt so dismissed. I waited 1 month to see her and was treated so bad. I dont normally write bad reviews, but this was no acceptable.

Absolutely awful customer service. The doctor made me wait over an hour past my scheduled appointment time with no consideration or communication. My time is valuable, and this level of disrespect and disorganization is unacceptable. I ended up leaving without being seen. Very disappointing experience.

Hands down the best care I’ve ever received in a medical setting. Everyone is so sweet and answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. 10/10 highly recommend this office.
