Horrible deplorable rude behavior! You want staff and a doctor who smile, care about you, treat you like a person that matters and has even 1% bedside manner? Then definitely DO NOT go to Vanessa Pomarico. She is the most unkind, unfriendly, deplorable behavior doctor i’ve ever had! I went for a decade always leaving feeling worse bc thier staff acts like they hate being thier so they make you as miserable as they are. Do yourself a favor and literally go anywhere else!

You want a horrible, unkind, never smiling, miserable, with 1% bedside manner staff and doctor then go to Vanessa Pomarico. You want a doctor and staff that care about you? Go literally anywhere else. save yourself the headache of having to deal with deplorable unkind humans.

this walk-in actually goes the extra mile to help the patient find the root of their symptoms and do everything they can to help you recover faster. The physicians here take the time out to listen to the patient and ask a ton of questions to get as many facts as possible.

I am writing this review on behalf of my partner who had an extremely frustrating and unpleasant experience at this facility. Near the end of May of this year, my partner woke up with acute chest pain and needed to be taken to urgent care. We went here because she was under the impression that this facility was covered for current Yale students which she is, though this turned out not to be true -- we just misinterpreted what we were told by a school medical insurance coordinator. After taking an x-ray of some kind along with a COVID and pregnancy test (she was not pregnant and wasn't even asked if she was), she met with a doctor who was extremely dismissive and inattentive to her concerns. This Yale walk-in clinic on Devine St in North Haven is the best! Honestly, everyone is so nice here and they really do care about you. I've been to a couple of other clinics which were dirty and the staff was unpleasant. A few years ago I broke both of my ankles & went to another clinic in North Haven. They literally watched me walk in, holding onto my friend, didn't get me a wheelchair & said they couldn't help me but waited until I got to the desk to say this. No other patients were in that clinic at that time. Recently I brought my daughter here to be checked. The nurse practitioner, Erin Pollock, listened to what my daughter had to say, examined her & said my daughter needed to go to the ER (which she didn't until 2 days later).
