Not a place for anyone who needs intensive care or rehab. Not a good place for elderly or frail people. Got a lot of runaround. Poor coordination of care. Since their goal is rehab, they are not equipped for people who are bedridden. My mother left after just 3 weeks with a bedsore that they didn’t report. Did not manage her pain sufficiently. She also lost a lot of weight and the nutritionist did not make sure she had healthy and easily digestible food. Make sure you have someone who can visit often and keep tabs on care. Some of the staff was great and I was really happy with their hard work. Other staff seemed completely indifferent or didn’t seem able or willing to consider the serious and delicate state my elderly mother was in. She went into hospice immediately after their “care” and

Not great. If the patient isn't able to advocate for herself, the care will be poor. Hitting the call button for a nurse is useless. Typically, it takes at least 30 minutes for anyone to respond to a call and then they usually say, "Someone will be in to take care of her," then they turn off the call button and leave. Nobody does come. They'll tell you the patients get bathed 3 times per week. I found out today that my mother, after being here a week, STILL has not been bathed yet, though we've been asking every day. It's a constant fight to get even the prescribed care. They keep forgetting to hook her feeding tube back up after taking her to therapy. The family has to be here all day just to make sure she can get basic care. If you have a loved one in here, either they need to be able

I am very familiar with Northeast Atlanta Nursing and Rehabilitation center. My husband was a resident for approximately 2 years. I’m also familiar with other facilities and healthcare. As with every facility, one may have exceptional staff, caring, competent and there will always be exceptions. I was extremely involved with my husband’s care and demanded quality. Overall, the facility is nice. The landscaping and design is nice. There are some very caring, personable and knowledgeable staff. It’s NEVER easy having a love one placed in a facility but the key is your presence, demand for quality, and family care plan meetings. One must be vocal and very engaged in the care.

Don't listen to the other reviews...they're from the previous ownership. For short term rehabilitation, I would never put my loved one anywhere else. They have been so unbelievably kind to my mom while she's going through cancer and radiation. They have gone above and beyond what is required and made her so happy. They have been absolute angels during this tough time. The facility is clean and wonderful. I checked out every other place in Atlanta and this one is the best by a long shot. 5 stars!!!

I see all of these terrible reviews and feel I definitely need to share my experience, which is to the contrary. My mother has been in NE Atlanta Rehab for the past 3 weeks and is about to be released. Her experience there has been nothing but positive, as well has mine. Their staff's professionalism, courtesy and attention, from nurses to physical, occupational and speech therapists, has been one of total diligence, organization and respect. Believe you me, if otherwise, I would've heard about it from my mother. Instead she has developed wonderful relationships with all of them during her stay there...And the end and most important result is she'll leave there tomorrow in tremendously better physical and mental shape than when she was admitted, which was straight over from St. Joseph's a
