FNPs are the worst licensed practitioners I, and my family, have ever been to. In the last 10 years we've yet to see an actual M.D. When I've asked questions about medications they want to prescribe the responses we're: "You don't need to question my authority, just do what I tell you..." "I already got my degree, I don't need to follow research..." "You need to put down your tablet, I'm the expert..." (in reference to making references to the Medical Journals) "Oh, you couldn't have ALL those symptoms" (I have a lengthy medical record with scans, blood work, and surgeries that prove I do) My daughter (adult) with autism is treated like she's a junkie looking for a fix.
