Once again, a case of good doctors with an incompetent staff. I noticed when I was leaving the office that although the doctor had told me she had sent 2 prescriptions, my pharmacy had only received one. I went right back in and told them about the problem, and they assured me they sent it again. I said specifically that I was trying to avoid sitting in a pharmacy for hours while sick, so I wanted to make sure it went through. The prescription was not transmitted. However, the pharmacist told me this was an easy fix -- the office could call in the prescription. I called to ask them to do that, and was told the doctor wanted to change the medication and a nurse would call me at some point. I explained that I did not need a call; I only needed someone to call the pharmacy. After 30 minutes,

When there again , today , for a massive infection and my finger. It was swollen up as if it was broken in progress , getting excruciating over the last several days. Got to a point where I couldn't work or shake hands or anything. I went to MGH NORTH Urgent Care again. The front staff in nurses were great as always! Louis was the physicians assistant who helped me outhese. Are the pictures which showed him slicing my finger open with a scalpel. And I did not feel a single thing after he gave some local anesthesia. Super kind and gentle too! You're the man Louis. Thank you all that helped me there today. God bless you all!

Checked website, no option for booking appointments, nothing saying "No Walk ins" We Arrive for Urgent Care & they tell me I needed an appointment. When i questioned why it does not state that anywhere on website, the check-in desk all responded with rude & condescending attitudes like i should have known better. If they do not accepting walk-ins, that no longer makes you an "Urgent Care" taking appointment only makes you a doctors office. At least have the decency to address this issue & post signs & adjust your website to inform patients correctly.

PA Mark and Nurse Shannon were excellent! Both were very knowledgeable, personable, organized and most of all were dedicated to me during my time in the clinic. PA Mark performed a thorough assessment on me and explained every thought and outcome. Shannon was a great support and had great empathy for me from start to finish. Not to forget the IV tech and imaging staff - who were also fabulous in their skill and friendly. Infection control procedures were on point. This facility is a 5-star provider. I'm a nurse myself, I was overly impressed by the quality of care I received by this facility. Thank you! :) Vanessa

I can’t speak to the experience but I will say that I agree that this is not an urgent care facility. This is a family medicine clinic posing as an urgent care. You have to make an appointment and if you aren’t in the system and their “registration person” has gone home by 9:30 AM (like they did today), they won’t take you. In other urgent care facilities, people can fill out paperwork and check in themselves so I don’t know why a specific person with a specific title needs to do that. It’s also a holiday weekend and folx are traveling so it should make sense to know out of town folx might be visiting and staff accordingly. My husband cut his finger pretty badly and they wouldn’t see him. That is not urgent care. Urgent care is a place where people can walk in with issues that don’t requir
