Dr. Sakya is a most skilled and talented practitioner, and she brings a wealth of expertise in eastern and western medical training to provide treatment with both a surgical precision and a soft focus on general/ wholistic wellbeing. She has expertly treated a variety of chronic, acute, localized, and systemic conditions I have experienced over the years, and I always leave a session feeling at least 50% better immediately. I often find that my symptoms resolve completely within a couple of days to a week after seeing Dr. Sakya, depending on the nature of the condition we are treating. I'm delighted to have found North Park Acupuncture. I've been coming regularly since July 2022, primarily to treat intermittent shoulder issues related to sports injuries, aggravated by computer use. They have also worked on my hands, neck, occasional illness, various injuries, and whatever else comes up. Dr. Namrata is my favorite, and the space feels more peaceful since she took over the business. You should know that they book up quickly, especially for the longer initial appointment. I try to schedule my maintenance appointments as soon as the calendar opens so I get times that work for my busy schedule, but a few times they've fit me in for emergency situations like if my neck goes out. Fortunately that doesn't happen often!
