Great visit! Thorough, professional and great with my son. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Office was clean. Doctor spent a lot of time going over all our concerns and we left feeling like we had some answers and a plan after seeing other podiatrists and orthopedic doctors that didn’t spend the time. Only thoughts were I wasn’t made aware that my son needed x-rays and I would’ve preferred to have that discussion with the doctor before we did it because he has already had a lot of x-rays for the issue. Second - typically you pay a copay and then get a bill but I paid $259 in a rush to go home and I just wrote to them for clarification on that billing

I am in from San Diego and encountered a good round of gout. I am so glad I found NFF&AC and Dr. Amanda Bartell. Their office and exam space is nice, clean and comfortable, the staff - in particular Joey worked to get me in same day after a co-worker said that time had been taken, she called me right back so thank you! I felt like Amanda's assessment, treatment and next steps are right on. It is great to know that I have access to a great staff and Doctor that are more than capable of helping me with pain management. I feel great!

I take my friend here sometimes because she doesn't drive anymore. It used to be great, but the really wonderful manager they used to have isn't there anymore and the new people seem clueless. It feels like the whole office has been changing for the worse. We're now looking for a new place and won't be coming back.

Very poor experience. Had a total of four appointments for a very minor cyst, only two of which were necessary. They seem to schedule you for unnecessary appointments in order to bill insurance as many times as they can for multiple services. Every time I was in the office, I waited greater than 30 minutes. They seem to have no regard for a patient’s time as I was in the middle of work days. The office staff is very confused and no one seems to know the procedure or be able to give you accurate information. I had to call multiple times on questions and would never receive a follow up. I had scheduled a surgery and was asked to pre-pay (after first being given an amount that was double what it should have been) for Dr. Bartrell’s services upfront before billing my insurance. I have never b

A Cautionary Tale: Multiple Injections, No Follow‑Up — Proceed with Care Review: I’ve never written a review before, but I can't stay silent after my experience. Nearly two years ago, I saw Amanda Battel for plantar fasciitis. She administered two corticosteroid‑type injections. When the injury didn’t fully resolve, I returned in May 2025. The only imaging performed in‑office was an X‑ray—no ultrasound or MRI was ever requested. During that visit, she recommended another injection, which I trusted would help. Two weeks later, at a follow-up, she suggested yet another shot. A few weeks later—despite feeling about 90 % better—I agreed to a third injection “just to be 100 % sure.” Looking back, I was too trusting. Post‑injection soreness is expected—the shots are painful—but she never us
